Hot Yoga is hatha yoga

Hot Yoga is a series of 26 postures (asanas) and two breathing exercises that has been designed to systematically work every part of the body. Each posture stretches and strengthens specific muscles, ligaments and joints needed for the next posture. The series also stimulates the organs, glands and nerves, moving fresh oxygenated blood to 100% of the body, restoring all systems to a healthy working order. It is a complete, holistic workout doing more for your body than you ever imagined possible!

Hot Yoga is for everyone

"Its never too late, its never too bad, and you're never to old or sick to start from scratch once again." Bikram. All yoga classes are for beginners and advanced students alike (new students aged 14 & 15 years must have their registration form co-signed and be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. New students aged 16 & 17 years must have a parent or legal guardian sign their registration form). The teacher provides constant dialogue with precise instructions, which allows students to move into the postures correctly and according to their own level of ability.

Yes this yoga is hot

The studio room is heated to 39˚C. Amongst many benefits, practising in a heated room protects the muscles and allows for deeper stretching, thins the blood to clear the circulatory system, allows the body to eliminate toxins, increases heart rate for a better cardiovascular workout and improves strength by putting muscle tissue in optimal state for reorganisation. The meditative practice of stillness will calm and centre you, bringing together body and mind.

Yoga is living life

When you practise Hot Yoga you feel energised, healthy and happy! If you follow the unique yoga sequences to the best of your ability, you will live a better, healthier life, a life that is in balance.
