Nancy Perin

Nancy started Bikram yoga in 2012. She was overwhelmed with emotion after her first class. She felt revitalised, re-energised, and reborn. The shifts started from there. She quit alcohol in August 2013. Plus quit her job in the childcare industry. A regular yoga practice transformed her entire lifestyle. Everyday became amazing.

In 2014 she became a certified Bikram Yoga teacher after training in LA. For Nancy the 500-hour nine-week process was life changing and priceless. It allowed her to witness her mind, physical body, and spirit being in absolute balance. For Nancy, yoga is a way of life, it’s all encompassing. And she understands it’s a huge topic so continues to study. She became a certified 200 hours Yin Yoga Teacher in 2015, where she learned the importance of meditation. From there she went on to complete a further 300 hours in Hatha and Vinyasa in India in 2017.

Teaching Hot Yoga and Yin Yoga is now Nancy’s full time job. And she’s grateful that her job involves being able to guide people to their own transformative journey.


Deb Muir

For Deb, things happen for a reason. After a long three-month recovery from major surgery, she returned to a high stress job and lasted one day. She realised working long hours wasn’t what was important to her. Then she found Bikram. Challenging is one way she would describe it. Determination took over and she returned the following day. That turned into attending classes at least 4 times a week. The changes physically were amazing and all of a sudden she had so much more patience at home, on the road, and at work.

October 2011 Deb joined the Yoga Tree family as a receptionist at the Joondalup studio. This inspired her to take a leap of faith and attend a teacher training in 2012 in LA. Teacher Training was one of the most fulfilling and life-changing things she has ever done. For Deb, teaching feels like her place in the world.


Sophie Miller

After an injury and feeling like a stranger in her own body, Sophie decided to give Bikram Yoga a try. It's a day she will never forget. The heat, the confrontation of looking at herself in the mirrors, and the feelings that surfaced. It was a lot. But it only took one class and her world changed forever.
She’d always been drawn to a more calm, healing, and authentic way of living. She now knows that her heart and soul knew long before her mind did that she was meant to teach yoga. Sophie trained in Thailand for 9 weeks to become a Certified Bikram Yoga Teacher (500hrs). It was the biggest challenge she had ever put herself through spiritually, physically, and mentally.
Sophie is passionate about making a difference in this world in as many ways as possible and she’s honoured to have yoga to share with the world.

Kat Gregory

Kat is an enthusiastic and holistic minded yoga teacher of both Bikram (Hot Yoga) & Yin Yoga styles. Since graduating from Bikram’s College of India in Fall 2011 Kat has taught in studios all around Australia as well as in the UK. Yoga has played a transformational healing role in Kat’s life that has seen her go from city party girl to holistic wellness advocate. Having mentored with some of the best senior teachers from Australia and around the world, Kat is always keen to expand her knowledge and education to pass onto the students. Outside of the yoga room, Kat is a Usui Reiki Master & intuitive healer. Combining her passions for metaphysics and movement Kat weaves into her classes her love for the Chakras, Chinese Meridians and current energy forecasting.

Robbie Hamilton

It was in the middle of a long hot summer that Robbie attended her first hot yoga class. It took a long time to get used to doing yoga in the heat but she found it to be a complete workout, a journey, and a life changer. Her health improved as she allowed the practice and her teachers to create a space for change, both physically and mentally.

Robbie attended a Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in 2013. Not wanting to stop the learning journey she went on to complete a 200 hour Vinyasa Teacher Training at Power Living and is working her way through the 500-hour pathway. In 2017 Robbie commenced a Cert IV in Matwork Pilates through Polestar Pilates Australia. She plans to continue in this direction with possibly a Diploma and courses on Reformer and Studio work.

If you had told Robbie 10 years ago that she would be a yoga teacher, own an incredible studio, and have this much lycra, she would have laughed until she cried.

This 60 minute class includes all 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises included in the original 90 minute class.  The class moves at a different pace, only some of the postures are performed twice.  It stimulates the organs, glands and nerves, moving fresh oxygenated blood to 100% of the body, restoring all systems to a healthy working order. It is a complete, holistic workout doing more for your body than you ever imagined possible! The studio room is heated to 39˚C allowing the muscles to warm for deeper stretching, it thins the blood to clear the circulatory system, allows the body to eliminate toxins, increases heart rate for a better cardiovascular workout, and improves strength.  It is a dynamic class that will encourage you to stay focused and connected to your breath.
